Goal
To answer the following questions regarding GitLab monorepo:
- Total size of repo on-disk (server-side)
- Total # of commits
- Average # of new commits/workday
- Total # of refs (broken down by feature branches, tags, internal refs, etc)
- Total # of files
- Maximum directory depth
And anything else your team feels might be helpful.
- we can throw in some stats about our CI pipeline, such as time to first failure, average duration, which are in healthy state right now
They are also looking at GitLab Dedicated
- This I'm a bit unfamiliar with, how do we track these data?
cc @gitlab-org/quality/engineering-analytics @gitlab-org/quality/engineering-productivity Please let me know if anyone is aware if we are already tracking these metrics somewhere.
