This sub-package has been deprecated for a significant length of time and according to my searches, it's no longer in use for any customer-facing repositories.

These highlight 6 code results - 3 are forks of the GitLab repository that are significantly out of date and likely forgotten about. Given these aren't being updated, removing this package is likely to have an impact on these repositories even if they are still in use.

Again, these all look like out-of-date forks that are not actively maintained.
