Email re-engagement - engage with a repo 3 times in 30 days
Problem
15% of users accomplish an audit event the day they signup. Meaning that 85% of users leave the product before accomplishing specific activation tasks. As a result, there is an opportunity to capture a percentage of users who leave after their first day of signup and never return to the product to activate.
Goal
This email drip campaign should drive users to create a code repository and engage with that repository at least 3 times within 30 days of signing up for a GitLab account.
- We should have the ability to test the content of each email in the campaign to ensure that the content is driving the most clicks back to the users account as possible.
- We should have the ability to test the timeframe that each email is being sent, in order to drive the most clicks back to the users account as possible.
- Each email should have at least a 30% open rate
- Each email should have at least a 10% click through rate
Proposal
Ops Needs
- Adding SaaS records to Marketo (we don't currently do this)
- Sending back the info on whether they took the actions in product that we are wanting
- Jackie - can we change the framing of the checkboxes to increase opt-in on the trial forms?
