WIP: clarify what options should be present in the (?) main nav dropdown
Currently, when a free user signs up for Gitlab we display four tiles in projects as a way to onboard them. One of these tiles is titled "learn more about GitLab" which links to docs.gitlab.com.
If a free user, later on, navigates to the ?
dropdown in the main nav they are presented with two options.
-
Help
which links to https://gitlab.com/help -
Support
which links to https://about.gitlab.com/get-help/
Questions:
- Should we swap out one of these links with a link to docs.gitlab.com which allows a user to more easily search for an answer to an immediate question they may have? If so, which one?
- Why are
help
andsupport
both options in this dropdown? When should a user select one vs the other? And how should they know which one is the right one to click? How can we clarify what each option represents?
