Docs: Add info on clearing index status

Blair Lunceford requested to merge docs-blunceford-add-clear-index-status into master

What does this MR do?

This MR updates the Elasticsearch indexing steps to include the clear index status step. This came up in a customer ticket as a necessary step for re-indexing: https://gitlab.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/160235 (internal use only)

This step is included in the gitlab-rake gitlab:elastic:index task: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/blob/v13.0.6-ee/ee/lib/tasks/gitlab/elastic.rake#L11

1. Primary Reviewer

  • Review by a code reviewer or other selected colleague to confirm accuracy, clarity, and completeness. This can be skipped for minor fixes without substantive content changes.

3. Maintainer

  1. Review by assigned maintainer, who can always request/require the above reviews. Maintainer's review can occur before or after a technical writer review.
  2. Ensure a release milestone is set.
  3. If there has not been a technical writer review, create an issue for one using the Doc Review template.
