Updating options spec string to be raw data

What does this MR do?

A hotfix for: #214762 (closed)

Based on this MR: gitlab-ui!1283 (merged)

We no longer accept strings as a data type for the engineering notation, hence the failing test. I have updated the test to represent raw data instead as the function expects.
