How to set up and validate locally
- Make sure
@gitlab/svgsis 3.171.0 or later and runyarn install. - In the Rails console, run
Feature.enable(:ai_catalog_mcp_servers). - Use a top-level group that has GitLab Duo features, MCP enabled for Duo workflows, and experiment and beta features turned on.
- In a project in that group, in the left sidebar, select Automate. The MCP servers item shows the
mcpicon. - Open the group itself, select Automate, and check that MCP servers shows the same icon.
