The handler now skips auto-close when the base dropdown ref is gone.
  • !6361: GlTooltip, GlPopover: Fixed a TypeError: n.show is not a function crash under @vue/compat (@mrincon) when the app root is created with new (Vue.extend(Component))(). The tooltip helper was built from the root component's constructor and inherited its props, data and hooks, so a show prop shadowed the helper's show() method. Teleport was also missing on that constructor, so the tooltip content was not rendered. Both lookups now resolve the base Vue constructor.

    The optical alignment nudge for circular icons (iconOpticallyAligned, and the issue-open-m and issue-close icons) now only applies when the badge also has slot content. It previously pushed the icon off-center in icon-only badges.

  • !6339: GlOutsideDirective: Fixed dropdowns and other v-outside-using components closing on mousedown (@cngo) in Safari when clicking a <button> inside them (e.g. a listbox "Clear" reset button). Safari doesn't focus <button> elements on click and instead blurs whatever was previously focused, which fired a focusin targeting an element outside the bound container and closed it before the click could register.
