What does this MR do and why?

Guards the Apollo update callback in AiCatalogConfiguredItemsWrapper against a null aiCatalogConfiguredItems field, which threw a deferred TypeError reported to Sentry as GITLABCOM-CLIENTSIDE-2E5YT.

How to set up and validate locally

  1. Navigate to any project or group AI Catalog configured items page (e.g. /-/automate/agents).
  2. Use DevTools request interception (or a local resolver change) to make the aiCatalogConfiguredItems query respond with { "data": { "aiCatalogConfiguredItems": null } }.
  3. On master, the console shows TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'nodes') from the update callback. On this branch, the page renders the empty state with no TypeError.
