Generalize maven examples for reuse in container virtual registries

What does this MR do and why?

In !204090 (merged), we added separate shared examples for the container virtual registry to keep scope and not need to update a lot of Maven files when generalizing the common test setup. This MR is a follow-up to reuse the common examples and rename them to be more generalized.
