Remove handbook links - Plan - Batch 10/18
Review carefully. The MRs in this issue remove links but leave the link text.
- Remove handbook links that aren't critical. While a link might be somewhat useful, if it's not critical to the user's understanding, we should remove. Users can Google the information they need, and the majority of content on the web is found through search.
- Do not remove links that seem critical. Instead, revert the change and note the filename, location, and link in a comment in the issue. For example, if the information is:
- A service level agreement.
- A legal document or other contractual information.
- Data retention or other policies.
- Update the issue to select the checkbox for the batch you merged.
At the end of this OKR, we will:
- Move content from the handbook to the docs if it makes sense.
- Update the style guide to document which links we allow and which we do not.
