What does this MR do and why?
This MR is a copy of another MR. This was done on purpose as suggested by @ck3g because the CI pipline contineously failed for no clear (obvious) reason, see !171455 (comment 2341937523).
In order to solve this, we created this new branch and this new MR in order to try to merge the code changes from this MR. Let us see if this helps.
