Draft: Backporting changes for saml test mount path to 16-10-stable-ee

What does this MR do and why?

Backporting the changes from !148617 (merged) to 16-10-stable.

omnibus-gitlab!7762 MR backport was created which caused failures in the saml test in the MR pipeline . This failure was fixed in 16.11 in !148617 (merged) MR.

Adding this fix to 16-10-stable-ee as well so that the test can pass in the omnibus-gitlab!7762 MR pipeline and the backport MR can be merged
