Adding array support in 16.11

What does this MR do and why?

From a discussion in #457943 (comment 1888070981), this MR is to indicate what version of GitLab (16.11) the array input type was started to be supported. This will help reduce confusion over any errors encountered in installations that are pre 16.11.
