How to set up and validate locally

Numbered steps to set up and validate the change are strongly suggested.

  1. Make sure advanced search is enabled.
  2. Try to create a group level work_item FactoryBot.create(:work_item, :epic, :group_level).
  3. Call ProcessBookeepingService on the work_item and notice it will not be indexed in to elastisearch.
  4. Try same for another work item which has a project and you will notice it is getting indexed.
