Revert "Merge branch 'andrey-gdk-for-default' into 'master'"

What does this MR do and why?

I realised this will not work, because our e2e tests depend on bunch of environment variables defined and I don't think it's feasible to maintain them in the forks as well.

Reverting this until we fix e2e framework to be able to "just work" when running against dev type environments.
