Skip logging event types for events that have been logged

What does this MR do and why?

This MR aims to reduce the number of logs generated. These temporary logs were added via !143690 (merged) and we aim to remove these completely in the near future. By skipping logging certain event types that are logged the most we can reduce the amount of logs that are generated by 95%. See this comment for more details.
