What does this MR do and why?

For GitLab.com users, the link below the Sign in goes directly to https://about.gitlab.com/terms/ instead of https://gitlab.com/-/users/terms. For self-manage users, the link continues to go to https://gitlab.com/-/users/terms.

This doesn't affect in any way the enforcement of the terms.

In the /-/trial_registrations/new we remove the Terms and Privacy links in the footer, as these are now redundant.

How to set up and validate locally

  1. On an incognito window, check the following URLs:
  • /-/trial_registrations/new (emulate SaaS)
  1. No changes, except the links goes to https://about.gitlab.com/terms/ (for GitLab users), on these pages:
  • /users/sign_in
  • /users/sign_up
  • /groups/flightjs/-/saml/sso (enable SAML)
