What does this MR do and why?
Currently, we don't have a UX Design template for UX Design issues. As an Onboarding Buddy to @ipelaez1, I realized that the content in most of my design issues have come from my 4+ years of experience at GitLab and context I've found to be helpful over that time, which isn't shareable for new team members. This would also be helpful to have for existing team members, to serve as a sort of suggested checklist to make sure we're asking the right questions and collecting enough context before getting into design solutions. This template will also be helpful for Product Managers who open design issues for UX Designers so they can provide as much context up front as possible and understand our process.
The goal is to have this available as a resource, but not a requirement, for design issue creation.
2023-12-12 Update:
We do have this issue template - feature proposal (detailed) already.
Q: Do we need a separate template or does this other template cover most use cases? Do designers use this currently as a starting point? Why or why not? Please reply in thread.
