How to set up and validate locally

  1. Follow the docs on enabling Snowplow for local development: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-development-kit/-/blob/main/doc/howto/snowplow_micro.md
  2. Go to any project http://localhost:3000/[PROJECT_PATH]/-/clusters
  3. You should see a Did you know popup as described here https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/349730
  4. Click on either X or Apply for credit
  5. Go to http://localhost:9091/micro/good, validate whether click_dismiss if X is clicked or click_button if Apply for credit is present in the logs
