In continuation to handle missed use cases for MR code links Open in Web IDE and Gitpod in new... (!102512 - merged) . Closes Open Web IDE in a new tab from all contexts (#383865 - closed)

How to set up and validate locally

Numbered steps to set up and validate the change are strongly suggested.

  1. Press . to open keyboard shortcuts, Click Open in web IDE , see that it opens in new tab
  2. Open the project detail page and click on Web IDE button , see that it opens in a new tab Screenshot_2022-12-09_at_11.07.14_AM
  3. Open any file on gitlab.com , click on the button "Open in web IDE" and see that it opens in a new tab.
