Track historical changes to a sprint

As teams get closer to begin working on a sprint, there may be changes to scope to that sprint. Teams may want to see those changes, and who made them, and under what circumstance.

Currently, you can see milestone updates on an activity thread (of the issue), but you cannot see this from a team perspective, for that sprint.

How can this be done? Possibly using board comments, where a board represents the sprint, as in: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ee/issues/7653
