Archived projects are inconsistently hidden or shown in group view

Summary

Archived projects are not hidden from view when expanding their parent from a higher level group. This seems inconsistent with viewing the parent directly, where the archived projects are hidden, as expected.

This might be related to #419279 (closed)

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a group, a nested group, and a project in the nested group.
  • archive the project
  • view the top-level group, and expand the nested group: the archived project is now visible
  • view only the nested group: the archived project is now not visible.

Example Project

What is the current bug behavior?

Archived projects are visible, and can't be hidden, when expanding their group from a grand(parent) group.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Archived projects are not visible by default, except maybe when viewing the inactive tab.
