Pilot workshop: AI ideation session
Context
AI Framework helps enable other teams to deliver high-quality AI features. This issue is about piloting a workshop with a high-value product team to help them identify AI opportunities within their user's workflow.
High level steps
- Identify a suitable high-value product team within GitLab for the pilot. (e.g. Ultimate tier, high usage feature, cross-stage adoption..)
- Determine the format of the workshop, including structure, activities, and duration.
- Run the workshop/session
- Run a retro to figure out flaws and areas to improve the process
- Publish the outcome as a consumable for other teams to ideate in a self-serve manner (e.g. workshop template)
Rough ideas for the session
- Discuss when AI is and is not suitable - risk, cost, etc.
- Look at user workflow (could use JTBD or any system really...)
- Discuss what of the jobs / user tasks could be a good candidate for automation
- Discuss the impact if automation produces an incorrect recommendation
UXR ran a similar session, we could probably take pieces of this.
