CI/CD catalog Design Sprint - Kickoff
Welcome to the Design Sprint
A Design Sprint is a four-day process for solving big problems through design, prototyping, and testing ideas. Design Sprints quickly align teams under a shared vision.
During the sprint, we will brainstorm together by developing hypotheses, prototyping ideas, and crafting the user testing plan.
Homework Tasks
Task 1: Familialize with Design Sprint (Estimated time: 10 minutes)
Read the Kickoff slide and become more familiar with Design Sprints and what to expect over the next few days.
Task 2: 💡 Something to think about before the meeting (Estimated time: 20 minutes)
- Problems that you see in the current state of the CI/CD Catalog from the CI components maintainer's perspective.
- Maintainers are the team or individuals who are responsible for creating, and maintaining the common CI elements across the team.
- Products or implementations that inspire you are specific to the CI/CD Catalog.
Kick-off Day Sync Activities (Approximately 1 hour)
Icebreaking (20 minutes)
An engaging activity designed to help participants get to know each other better, warm up, and feel more comfortable collaborating. This could include quick introduction rounds, fun facts, or a short interactive game.
Sprint Goal (20 minutes)
The sprint goal is a way for the team to look into the future of your product or service in the best-case scenario. It lets everyone think optimistically but also gives them a chance to suggest where the product or service should end up.
Q&A (10 minutes)
An open forum for participants to ask questions about the design sprint, express concerns, or clarify expectations. This helps ensure everyone is on the same page and feels prepared to start the sprint.
