Could not update wiki page: The form contains the following error: Duplicate page: A page with that title already exists
Summary
Whenever I save certain wiki pages, an error appears:
This happens for all pages, for which the following condition is true:
- There are other pages in a subdirectory .
- The page in question has the same name as the subdirectory.
In the following example, the error happens when editing the pages Retrospective, Townhall and Weekly.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a first wiki page called
Test
. - Create a second wiki page called
Test/Subpage
. - Edit the first wiki page called
Test
, then save it.

The error message is shown, but the content is (thankfully!) persisted.

No error message is shown, and the content is persisted.
