[AI pattern] Feature discovery moments AI features

Context

This issue explores defining an AI pattern for discoverability of AI features.

Problem to solve

AI features are not consistently signaled in the product. Most AI features do not have feature discovery. Those that do have feature discovery use different UI elements and UI copy.

Vision

User

Aware of new feature because it’s signaled in the app
Enticed to use feature because of value proposition
Guided to the “happy path” by educating what the feature is capable of

Reduce effort to add feature discovery moments, make it more likely that these are implemented via:
- A library of design components (sticker sheet, examples...)
- Guidelines about UI elements, logic, value proposition

Gitlab (organization)

GitLab Duo is seen a unified product through consistency in design
Higher engagement and satisfaction with AI features

Output of this issue

The output of this issue will likely not be limited to AI features. I expect the output will be an expansion of the guidelines on feature discovery in Pajamas.
