Thanks for helping us shape Breach and Attack Simulation. The BAS user documentation contains information on any incubating features relating to BAS which have been released.

Goal
The goal is to develop and integrate attack emulation capabilities into GitLab.
Dynamic Application Security Testing
Follow the user guide at docs.gitlab.com to Extend Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to enable active checks and Out-of-band Application Security Testing for the browser-based DAST analyzer.
Self-Managed Users
If running in an offline environment you must import any container images referenced in your effective YAML after including the BAS.latest.gitlab-ci.yml CI/CD template.
Limitations
- This is a project by Incubation Engineering, and we are exploring the feasibility of Breach and Attack Simulation as part of the GitLab Platform. We are keeping the number of functionalities low for now as we focus on understanding use cases.
