Render avatars in place of usernames within Markdown
Proposal
Similar to how #15694 (closed) added the capability to render the title of a referenced issue within Markdown by appending a +
to the reference (e.g., #12345+
vs #12345
), it would be nice to be able to render a user's avatar in place of their username (e.g., @jmgate+
instead of @jmgate
).
Motivation
Often enough we create issues with long lists of the various things people on the team are working on, just so we can easily see who's doing what where at a high level, and seeing avatars in place of usernames would make it much easier to scan such lists to know who's committed to various activities.
