Design: Pre-check requirement for open policy and tell user in advance
Problem
As shown in the gif below, both policies require the policy creator to be the project owner. I would assume all future policies will have the same requirement. Could we pre-check for the common requirements before users select policies type to reduce frustration? Imagine that we have 5 policy types, and the user needs to go back and forth 5 times to figure out he needs to be the owner of the project for each policy type. It will generate a frustrating feeling for the user.
Solution
Check the common requirement for all policies, if the user doesn't fit, disable the create new policy button with a tooltip
If each policy has different requirements we can also check them on the selection page and disable the button there, instead of directing user to the next page.
