Design alternatives to reduce confusion around the hamburger Menu

Opportunity

In %15.0 we investigated the history of the current top 🍔 Menu including its taxonomy and user behaviors to better understand its intent. Given the understanding of how users interact with this Menu option, this issue will explore alternative options to discover a meaningful change to introduce.

Goals

  • Avoid degrading the ability to navigate between projects and groups
  • All parent pages listed in the menu dropdown will remain accessible
  • Reduce ambiguity between pages (Snippets in top nav vs left sidebar)

Task

Create 3 design proposals for the top Menu to test with users to look for improved task performance.
