(ability to) change the ServiceDesk email address
GitLab assigns an email address to the ServiceDesk. It has the following format:
Unfortunately Google's G Suite (Gmail for work) does not allow email addresses with
/ to be added to groups, which makes it impossible to create an Alias email address (with that I mean a nice emailaddress with our organization's domain).
Creating an additional inbox for this particular email address and forwarding all of it's email to
incoming+organization/[email protected] does not work, as the from address will be lost, which makes it impossible to update the person that sent the issue to the service desk.
/ from the ServiceDesk email address so it can be added to Google Groups.
An additional advantage is that I can cc other emailadresses with every CC.
