Evaluate accessibility of the web editors
Problem to solve
The accessibility of the web editors in GitLab leaves something to be desired. If we want to live up to our promise of Everyone Can Contribute, we should ensure that includes who take advantage of screen readers and other assistive devices.
Proposal
As a first iteration, let's take inventory of the current state of accessibility. Where does a screen reader fail to navigate? Is contrast within an acceptable ratio? Are we exclusively using color anywhere to indicate something important? How does the Web IDE work with alternative input devices?
For the purposes of this audit, let's focus on the Web IDE and Web Editor (single file editor) but call out anywhere that can be addressed by making changes to the core editor (Source Editor).
