Show a test case in a review app
Release notes
Problem to solve
As a Product Manager doing UAT, I want to see steps to test/functional scenarios in the review app, so I can reduce how many tabs I have open and complete UAT faster.
Proposal
We have the concept of Test Cases as a data object in GitLab which can include scenarios to test. We could either manually add those to an MR as a field or automatically pull them in if associated with the associated Issue and then have a way to display them in the Visual Review tools. This would allow PMs, PDs, etc. to run a set of tests, leave feedback on if it has passed or not, etc. without having to log into GitLab and leave comments. It also gives the developer steps to test to validate bug fixes.
Is this a cross-stage feature?
Yes, this would involve the ~"group:certify" team who manages Category:Quality Management and the Test Cases feature.
