Commit reference not showing up in issue
Summary
In some case a commit referencing/closing an issue won't show up in said issue.
Steps to reproduce
First some conntext; I have a code base among two different repos. I have a third repo to handle issues, some CI and that hold my changelog file. On every commit that resolve an issue i shiould have modifications in the main repo for the changelog and in at least one other repo for the code that solve the issue.
I got this behaviour every time I close an issue via the Closes [full http url to issue]
commit command. The issue is closed; the commit from main is referenced in the issue's notes; but the commit made on any repositories from the code base don't show up.
Summary
- Create two project under the same group
- Create an issue on one project
- Commit some changes to both project with the same commit message closing previoous issue
After that the issue should be closed but only one notes is present under the issue (X closed via commit a13f43f
).
