Customize Email Notifications when User Access Expires
We use GitLab SaaS for a larger organization with many third-party users. This leads to a lot of waste in accounts and seats. As such, we regularly check and expire users which have been inactive for a longer period of time. The script itself doing this is quite simple: If the user has logged in or perform any action, reset the expiry time to its max value.
However, since Jan 15, this is now causing GitLab to send an email to all users, informing them that their expiry time has changed. According to GitLab Support (#191948), these notifications cannot be disabled. Could they instead be modified as to alert only if the expiry time has decreased? As it stands now, when a user expiry gets updated from 15 to 30 days, the email still gets sent out. An option to completely disable these emails would also be welcome.
Thank you very much and kind regards
