Provide immediate pipeline status feedback in Pipeline Editor
Release notes
When users finished configuring their pipeline using the pipeline editor it was impossible for them to tell what is the status of their pipeline without navigating to a different page, in this release with added an immediate pipeline status feedback on the pipeline editor, with this new improvement users would be able to learn about the status of their pipeline without leaving the comfort of their editor.
Problem
When editing your pipeline configuration, you want to get feedback on the status of your pipeline as quickly as possible. Currently, users aren't getting enough feedback on the pipeline status (status, logs, failure reasons etc) in the editor, which forces them to validate to the pipeline page and jobs page to troubleshoot the configuration.
Proposal
Latest proposal discussions thread
The goal here is to show the immediate status of the pipeline that's being triggered by the commit in the Pipeline Editor, so we don't need to worry about the other pipelines running.
We would like to show the overall pipeline status with an icon + text with the pipeline and commit linked, so the user can drill into the details if they want. The icons should match the status of the pipeline and have appropriate color, just like in the Pipeline graph.

Details: | Most participants were unaware that their pipeline had started. The only way they found out was to go to the Pipelines overview page. |
Action to take: | Provide an easily noticeable notification which communicates that a pipeline has started running. Within the notification, provide a link to the Pipeline status page so the user can easily locate additional information about their pipelines. |
