Cmd + Enter to submit comment breaks ability to make another comment in the same thread
Summary
Using cmd + enter
to submit a comment in a thread breaks the next comment.
I'm assuming this is because it didn't clear whatever method of storing your comment for later use is, where clicking the button clears it correctly.
Steps to reproduce
- Click into the
reply
text box - Make a comment responding in a comment thread.
- Press
cmd + enter
to submit your comment (only tested on mac) - Click into the new
reply
text box again to make another comment - Be sad as now you have a duplicate comment as the one you just made (or made so long ago), and have to either cancel it (never quick) or delete it all before you can leave another comment.
Example Project
What is the current bug behavior?
The comment auto-populates with your last comment, given you did the repro steps correctly. It's awful.
What is the expected correct behavior?
You should get a new fresh empty comment without having to do a bunch of deleting or canceling. It's insufferable when you just want to type more.
