Technical spike for paging via Twilio integration
We are going to integrate with Twilio to provide paging via call/text for Incident Management. We need to understand what that integration is going to look like and how we can achieve the following things:
- Authorization at the project level
- What happens if GitLab tries to send a page and the customers Twilio account hits the limit? Will it still send and "over draft" their account? We do not want alerts to drop
- How hard is it to enable 2 way SMS response so that users can acknowledge or resolve alerts from their phones?
- What information will we be sending to Twilio to notify the user with via text or phone call?
