Track historical Milestone and Iteration assignments on an issue
Problem To Solve
When looking at an Issue, I cannot quickly understand how many Milestones or Iterations an Issue has been part of. We add system notes, but I would have to scan through dozens of notes to parse out the basic information on milestone / iteration history.
We (GitLab) currently apply missed:xx.xx
labels, which can be solved for in a better way now that we have resource state events.
Proposal
- Show all Milestones and Iteration an Issue is/was part of in a centralized place.
- This might be a good opportunity for a "widget" instead of stashing this info in the sidebar.
- I believe the necessary data is already available via resource milestone events and resource iteration events
- Show all "missed" issues on milestones and iterations
- Snapshot the correct data for iterations and milestones before it is closed so you can see actual results in the statistics within these views.
