Add `jsconfig.json` file to map our custom webpack resolve paths
Currently most IDEs and other tooling do not understand our custom path resolution prefixes (e.g. ~/foo.js
) unless we use a special plugin (like eslint-import-resolver-webpack
).
It may make more sense to externalize these path definitions in such a way that more tools can understand it. We could use something like jsconfig.json
or tsconfig.json
which is understood by VS Code, typescript linter, and other editors. We could use something like Jest's moduleNameMapper
within package.json
.
