Inventory features and settings between Groups/Projects
Purpose
This issue will serve as research between Groups
and Projects
, in relation to their features and settings similarities and disparities.
- What settings exist as independent settings.
- What settings are redundant or overlap between the two.
- What features exist for
Groups
andProjects
- Is there confusion here
- Are features lacking between one or the other
What settings would be better served at a new Organization
level which supersedes and contains both Projects and Groups.

Looking at the Your Groups
screen is functionally the same concept as an Organization
level. Can the settings and features we're investigating in this issue be moved to this new Organization
level, which would then filter down globally in a more standard behavior. Allowing admins to adjust access more granularly at the project level.
