Wiki images always surrounded by link to download image - prevents SVG links
Problem to solve
SVG Images can include clickable links - this can make them ideal for diagrams where there is extra data required. However, when adding a SVG to a wiki page, it is always wrapped in an <a>
tag - meaning that clicking on the links (or elsewhere in the diagram) leads to the image being downloaded locally.
This happens whether the image is added using <img>
or ![Description](/path/to/image)
syntax.

Proposal
Two options:
- The wiki engine recognises SVGs as special, and does not add the
<a>
tag around them. - There is some additional syntax that allows turning off the
<a>
tag, which is documented in the markdown guide. Possibly this could be an extension of using<img>
- e.g.<img src='path/to/image' generate_link='false' />
Permissions and Security
No additional permisssions.
