Allow admin to mark secondary emails as verified
Summary
On gitlab CE omnibus installation, I added secondary emails for commit identification.
The problem is some of these mails are common noreply emails. For example github anonym emails: @users.noreply.github.com
. Since these emails can be used as git config email
, and it's quite common, it leads to problem marking it verified, because they cannot receive confirmation email.
Steps to reproduce
Add a noreply email in your settings. You cannot receive mails on that address: it's marked as unverified and the commit identification doens't work.
What is the expected behavior?
Since usage of noreply emails are common patterns, could we allow admins, to be able to force the verification of email addresses that are not the primary email address?
