Integration between Jira time tracking and Gitlab time tracking

As title says - I think in a MR on Gitlab it should uses as time spent the sum of the time spent in the associated issues on Jira

Hello! Any news on this feature? We use currently JIRA and intend to migrate from Svn to Git (GitLab). After some feature research this seems the only missing ;) Thanks!

I am also evaluating same thing (currently using JIRA) of moving development department to GitLab. I have requirement for preserving JIRA as other departments use it. Evaluated other features and GitLab suits fine for our use-case in development. The only thing is time tracking which needs to reflect in JIRA.

Is there any known roadmap for this issue? Is there any guideline available how to potentially contribute some effort?

What we're looking to do is feed MR time data into Jira issues. This is a little different than logging time against a Jira ticket with a smart commit.
