Ability to close milestones by commit tags
Description
This is probably a minor feature but it would be nice. Since developers can close issues, it would be great to close milestones.
Proposal
I believe that milestones should be deleted by tags. For example, if one has a milestone called 1.2.3
and creates and pushes a tag to Gitlab, it could close the milestone. I'm not sure if the issues inside the milestone should be checked or not, perhaps it could do this only if all issues are closed.
This enables a couple of developers to close open issues on a milestone and then create a new commit with a tag of the milestone, perhaps updating a CHANGELOG
. At least this is my current workflow and would be cool if Gitlab closed my (ready to close) milestone.
