Guidelines for design<->dev handoff

Purpose

The core issue is how designers communicate the intent of various design elements to developers – for example, "this is a primary button, this is secondary/help text." Static images exported from Figma lose that information, leaving developers only with raw hex colors to pull from. We want to ensure the handoff process we follow makes the design intent easily accessible for devs.

Requirements

• Explore different ways of communicating tokens when delivering designs for implementation
• Reccommends best practices and guidelines for the relevant handbook pages
• Determine the path forward
