Problem

Presently, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (jammy) is not supported in https://docs.gitlab.com/runner/install/linux-repository.html

It appears that this requires an upgrade to packagecloud to version 3.0.5 which is pending.

I didn't see an open issue addressing this.

@DarrenEastman For your consideration if you have any sort of estimated timeline or preliminary discussions surrounding this. Looks like this may be blocked by a packagecloud update?

It would be nice to have a release estimate, we already have a project waiting on an Ubuntu 22.04 build system runner.

@DarrenEastman Packagecloud blocker seems done. Any estimate till .deb package?
Got on-premise customer in need of support for jammy as developers started using it.

@krauthosting acknowledged - this issue is now a candidate for the 15.1 release.
