Option for build cache to be copied or ZIP stored to save time
I am currently using GitLab to store a Unity game project, and GitLab CI to automatically build the game for two platforms plus uploading to Steam. I have a global cache entry that gets restored and saved after each build and the Steam deployment. The project is quite large, and cache restoring/archiving is taking a while. I checked, and there are around 6GB of files cached (Unity's Library folder, builds, and Steam depot caches). In each build, it's around 2 minutes to unpack cache, 5 minutes for the build, and 10 minutes to repack cache, for a total build time of almost an hour. The build server only builds this project, and for me, it's completely unnecessary for the cache to be compressed (since I'm not uploading it back to the GitLab server). Could it be put into consideration for there be a couple of options to directly copy the cached files into the cache directory, or do a ZIP store instead of ZIP deflate? Space is not a concern for me, and speeding up builds would be very beneficial to my productivity.
