Revert "Merge branch 'zj-n-1-root-show' into 'master'"

What does this MR do?

Revert a previous MR to reallow the root#show to perform over 35 Gitaly calls. This will allow developers to seed their GDK with 10 projects and sign in as admin without an error page. To fix this I've opened: gitaly#1030 (closed).
